The Retired Professors' Association (RPA) hosted its third Reunion and Annual General Meeting on July 7, 2026, at the Clearwater Bay Campus. The event brought together former colleagues and esteemed professors emeriti for a meaningful dialogue, reaffirming their enduring connection to the HKUST community.
The gathering provided a dedicated platform for retired faculty to exchange views on HKUST’s latest developments. Professor Charles Ng, Vice-President for Institutional Advancement, shared key updates on the University's strategic initiatives, highlighting plans for the new medical school and HKUST’s recent achievements in global rankings. RPA members engaged in a fruitful exchange with Senior Management representatives, offering insights drawn from their decades of experience.
Following the meeting, the reunion continued an evening of warm laughter over a dinner at China Garden, a cherished spot where many had been frequent guests during their years on campus.
